I’m just a normal person with a desire to reach out to others. My interests include, among other things, computer games, reading, movies, TV shows, paint-by-numbers, animals, nature, etc, etc.
I work full-time at a local title insurance company in the DFW Metroplex, Texas, and have been here for about 1 year. Over the last 3 years I’ve definitely felt the impact of the mortgage/lending crisis and was laid off (twice!) from the last title company I worked for. After almost a year of unemployment I found this new job thanks to my sister. This is a situation that probably applies to many of you that are reading this and I’m in no way unique for having gone through it.
Also like many of you, I’m a single parent and if it weren’t for the support of my family, my son and I never would have made it through the ups and downs. My son just turned 14 and will be starting high school in August of this year (2010) and the thought of him being in high school absolutely terrifies me! I bawled like a baby when he started middle school and shiver to think how I’ll feel when August comes around.
